Zhou Jiyin

Professor Zhou Jiyin, born in 1938, a native of Taixing of Jiangsu province; graduated from Department of Fine Arts of Nanjing University of the Arts in 1962, majoring in traditional Chinese painting and then joined the faculty. Worked as Chief Editor of Journal of Nanjing University of the Arts of Yi Yuan, and Dean of Fine Arts Teaching and Research Section; and currently is Doctoral Supervisor in Nanjing University of the Arts, member of China Artists Association, Deputy Director of Theory Committee of Artists Association of Jiangsu Province, Honorary Chairman of Research Society of Yangzhou School of Painting, Advisor of Chinese Zheng Banqiao Research Society and Japanese Zheng Banqiao Society. Awarded the 1988 Jiangsu Provincial Award for Outstanding Teaching Quality of General Higher Education College; started to enjoy government special subsidy in 1995. Honors and Awards: Award for Outstanding Achievement of Social Science of Jiangsu Province in 1985; Award for Excellent Teaching Material for National Higher Education Colleges in 1988; Bronze Award of First Chinese Excellent Fine Arts Book in 1991; Chinese Book Award in 1988; Award for Outstanding Achievement of Human Science and Social Science of Regular Institutions of Higher Education of Jiangsu Province in 1995; Award for Outstanding Achievement of Philosophy and Social Science of Jiangsu Province in 1997; Award for Outstanding Achievement of Philosophy and Social Science of Jiangsu Province in 1998.
