International Students of NUA Participate in CGTN's "Music Voyage Winter Olympics Special"

NUA's international students Binda from Zambia and Micky from Vanuatu participated and achieved excellent results in the "Sing and Learn Chinese" global themed cultural event in December 2021 organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation under China’s Ministry of Education.

The China Global Television Network (CGTN)’s Music Voyage launched the brand-new Winter Olympics Special variety show, including the releases of the Winter Olympics-themed music "Embrace" after a month-long collaboration among four musicians in a relay format, the creative music video "Dimension" inspired by the venues for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, and the music video for the rap song "I See It All" by rapper IceCraz which shares the athletes' spirit of fighting, understanding and cooperation.  NUA's international students Binda from Zambia and Micky from Vanuatu sang the song together with outstanding contestants of "Sing and Learn Chinese" from all over the world. Gong Leying from Canada, Kek Sen Jie from Malaysia, and Kim Kwang Dek from North Korea made a joint contribution to producing the video.

The video of Binda and Micky's cover was published on the CGTN's website, app, and other social media accounts at home and abroad, as well as the WeChat Video Account of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation under China’s Ministry of Education. CGTN's "Music Voyage Winter Olympics Special" ignites a passion through language barriers and across cultural differences. We dance to the same dream and our hearts are in sync no matter which country we come from. Let's rap for "Beijing Winter Olympics" and make the "Music Voyage".
