NUA Obtained Eight More National First-class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites |
Recently, the Ministry of Education published Notice on the List of National and Provincial First-class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites in 2021 from the General Office of the Ministry of Education (Letter [2022] No.14). According to this notice, 16 first-class undergraduate major construction sites, including 8 national and 8 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites of Nanjing University of the Arts (NUA) are enrolled in this list. So far, a total of 34 majors in NUA have been approved as first-class undergraduate major construction sites, including 24 national and 10 provincial sites, covering majors under disciplines such as Art, Management Science, Literature, etc. The number of approved majors accounts for 83% of all undergraduate majors.
According to the three-year plan of the Ministry of Education's Double 10000 Plan for the construction of first-class undergraduate majors, the university actively summarized the construction experience on the basis of the declaration work in the previous two years, adhered to the strategy of highlighting advantages, held multiple promotion meetings, provided guidance on classification, and continued to improve the declaration materials, and completed the declaration of national and provincial first-class undergraduate majors for 2021. In the next stage, the university will follow the requirements for the construction of national first-class undergraduate majors, integrate the reformation and development plan of New Liberal Arts and New Arts, combine with the project guidelines and tasks of the high-level university summit plan, and thoroughly implement the construction project of high-quality undergraduate teaching system. In addition, the university will give full play to the leading role of first-class undergraduate majors, and actively promote the internal development of undergraduate majors and further improve the quality of talent training.
