Shanghai Ranking’s 2023 Best Chinese Majors Ranking is published! NUA’s All Majors Listed with Six A+! |
On June 15, the higher education professional evaluation agency, recently released the 2023 Best Chinese Majors Ranking, including 787 majors from 93 categories in 12 fields of displines. Shanghai Ranking’s Best Chinese Majors Ranking is so far the largest ranking of Chinese undergraduate subjects, in terms of the number of majors covered and the scale of majors taking part in the evaluation. Nanjing University of the Arts has six majors rated at A+, 19 majors rated at A, 14 majors rated at B+, and 2 majors rated at B, with overall 41 majors listed in the ranking, accounting for 100% of the university’s majors. Two majors which were approved this year, Artificial Intelligence Interaction Design and Musical, did not participate in the ranking. Among the six majors ranked at A+, Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection and Pop Music both ranked first, and Calligraphy ranked second. The following are the majors ranked at A+ in the category of Art Theory in the 2023 Best Chinese Majors Ranking. Shanghai Ranking’s Best Chinese Majors Ranking is based on five categories of indicators, i.e., conditions of university, support from subject, student sources of major, employment of major, and conditions of major, with a total of 25 measuring indicators. For most majors, the weights of these five categories are: conditions of university (10), support from subject (20), student sources of major (20), employment of major (5), and conditions of major (0-35). |
