From July 24 to August 2, 2024, a delegation from Nanjing University of the Arts (NUA) successfully co-hosted the 2024 China-Australia International Music and Culture Exchange Week at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia. Supported by the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations, this initiative aims to promote the research on the restoration of ancient musical instruments of China and Western countries and related theories, while strengthening international collaboration in music performance theory. The program also seeks to establish a joint training model for undergraduate and graduate students, enhancing the internationalization of music education. Throughout the exchange week, a diverse array of activities took place, including academic lectures, workshops, forums, concerts, and discussions on joint training programs.
