| NUA International Students Shined in Cultural Performance at 2024 Summit of Forum on China-Africa Cooperation |
The 2024 Summit of Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) commenced on September 4th in Beijing, featuring a gala performance titled “Joining Hands for a Brighter Future”. Among the performers were Motsomi Lone from Botswana and Matilda Brifah from Ghana, both international students at NUA. Motsomi Lone took part in the opening act, “China-Africa Drum Dance”, while Matilda Brifah performed the Chinese folk song “Flows Like Spring River”. Their participation highlighted the African students’ pursuit of artistic integration and their deep appreciation for Chinese culture. Botswanan President Mokgweetsi Masisialso praised their academic achievements. NUA remains committed to enhancing China-Africa cultural exchanges and promoting international education in China.
