From October 18 to 19, Nanjing University of the Arts, in collaboration with the Suzhou Cultural Industry Investment Promotion Center, co-hosted the "Industry-AcademiaResearch Cooperation Matchmaking Conference for Suzhou's Cultural and Creative Sector" during the 13th Suzhou Creative & Design Cultural Industry Expo. The event, themed "Expertise Integration, Industry Connectivity, and Multisector Convergence," focused on digital entertainment creativity and industrial innovation. It featured a variety of formats, including thematic discussions, creative idea exchange, salon forums, project matchmaking, and on-site visits. The event attracted over 100 representatives from universities, enterprises, and investment institutions. During the keynote sessions, experts discussed the digitalization and intelligence-driven development of the cultural and creative industry, exploring the future trends and innovative pathways from different perspectives. The discussions on drama and film, as well as animation and gaming, included in-depth exchanges on the resource sharing and cooperation models in the context of industry-academia-research integration. Participants also visited relevant companies in Suzhou to investigate their operations, enhancing their understanding of the practical aspects of the drama and film, as well as animation and gaming industries. This laid the foundation for future collaboration. The conference further promoted the integration and development of industryacademia-research cooperation in Suzhou’s cultural and creative industries.
