Second “Beautiful China” Innovative Design Competition for Graduate Students — Environmental Space Design Track were successfully held at NUA Art Museum. This competition was guided by the Department of Degree Management & Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education, hosted by the Association of Chinese Graduate Education and the Children & Youth Science Center of the China Association for Science and Technology, and organized by NUA. Launched in August, the competition attracted an impressive 1,972 teams, comprising a total of 6,012 faculty and students from 302 graduate training institutions across China. Following preliminary evaluations, 463 teams from 133 universities advanced to the finals, culminating in the selection of 39 first prizes and 92 second prizes. After the award ceremony, an exhibition of outstanding works and an academic forum were also held. Several authoritative scholars in the field of design delivered keynote speeches on the topics related to “Beautiful China” and disciplinary innovation. This initiative aimed to cultivate innovative design awareness among graduate students, enhance their practical skills, and promote the overall improvement of educational quality in art and design disciplines nationwide.
