Recently, the First World Congress on Handcrafts and Folk Arts and the Jingdezhen Prize Gala were held at the Taoxichuan Grand Theatre in Jingdezhen, bringing together outstanding creators from around the world in the fields of craftsmanship and design. Faculty and students from Nanjing University of the Arts participated in multiple roles, servingas jurors, organizers, and contestants. The university’s design works made a notable appearance at the inaugural conference, showcasing its ongoing exploration in arts and crafts education, material innovation, and cultural expression across various dimensions.
