| NUA Creative Works Shine at 2025 Suzhou International Culture and Creativity Conference & Suzhou Creative and Design Cultural Industry Expo |
On October 31, the 2025 Suzhou International Culture and Creativity Conference & the 14th Suzhou Creative and Design Cultural Industry Expo opened at the Suzhou International Expo Center under the theme "International Trends, Jiangnan Aesthetics, Innovative Creations." As a key exhibitor, Nanjing University of the Arts (NUA) presented nearly 100 works curated from its School of Design and School of Industrial Design, demonstrating cutting-edge advances in smart industrial design and digital media arts. They were organized into four sections: "Essence of Craftsmanship", "Poetics of Accessory Design", "Digital-Intelligence Symbiosis", and "Form & Intelligent Creation". Following the opening ceremony, the NUA leadership, including NUA Party Secretary Yu Feng, Vice President Zhang Jie (who also serves as aMember of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee), and Li Zhipeng (Member of the Standing Committee of the NUA Party Committee, Director of the Integrated Office of Party Committee and University Administration, and Head of the NUA Publicity Department), toured the exhibition with officials from the Suzhou Research Institute of NUA. During the tour, Secretary Yu paid particular attention to the model of the "Ice Path Messenger–Arctic Shipping Vessel" and the work "Mecha", praising the innovative integration of artistic design with national strategic development and technology. Leveraging platforms such as the Suzhou Research Institute of NUA, NUA has deepened industry-education integration to establish a seamless "creation-R&D-translation" chain. Moving forward, NUA will further strengthen interdisciplinary integration and innovation, contributing NUA's unique strength to Jiangsu's development as a culturally strong province.
