On November 7, a delegation led by Miao Helin,President of the Nanjing Public Diplomacy Associationand former Chairman of the 12th Nanjing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference,visited Nanjing University of the Arts (NUA). The delegation met with NUA Party Secretary Yu Feng and other leaders in a symposium chaired by Zhang Jie, Vice President and Member of the Standing Committee of the NUA Party Committee. The two sides held in-depth discussions on potential collaboration in areas, including the creation of a statue of John Rabe, the co-establishment of an International Culture and Art Exchange Institute, and the designation of a base for overseas exchanges. Secretary Yu stressed the importance of utilizing the Association's resources to expand global engagement, whilePresidentMiao expressed his hope that the joint efforts would unlock new potential for public diplomacy through the arts. After the meeting, the delegation toured the History Museum of NUA and the Art Gallery, speaking highly of NUA's century-long legacy in art education.
