| Nanjing University of the Arts Shines at 2026 Milan Design Week |
From April 21 to 26, the 2026 Milan Design Week and the 64th Salone del Mobile.Milano opened in Milan, Italy. As a parallel event, the China–Italy Innovative Design Exhibition Break Through, Rise Up 2026, jointly organized by the Milan Design Week Committee and the Organizing Committee of the Excellent Works Exhibition of Design Disciplines from Chinese Universities, was simultaneously launched at the Luiss Hub Center in Milan. The School of Industrial Design and Intelligent Innovation of Nanjing University of the Arts was invited to participate. As one of the world’s most prestigious exhibitions for furniture and home design, Salone del Mobile and Milan Design Week bring together leading professionals across furniture, interiors, architecture, fashion, accessories, and lighting for high-level showcases and exchanges every year. As a key component of Milan Design Week’s official academic program, Break Through, Rise Up 2026 presents the latest achievements in design disciplines from Chinese universities and fosters in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics in design education and industrial development in the artificial intelligence era. At the exhibition, the School of Industrial Design and Intelligent Innovation at Nanjing University of the Arts presented a series of outstanding teaching achievements and creative works developed in recent years, highlighting its forward-looking design thinking and innovative accomplishments in industrial design and intelligent innovation.
